VowCraft

Frequently asked questions

How does this work?+

Answer a handful of questions about the couple — names, a few details about their story, how they'll enter, the vibe they want — and Claude writes a complete ceremony script — processional to recessional — built around those specifics, not a fill-in-the-blank template, with bracketed delivery cues so you know when to pause or look up. The first part of the script — through the opening of the Declaration of Intent — is free to read; unlocking the rest, a print-ready PDF, and email delivery is a one-time $12.

Is the script legally valid in my state?+

The script includes a standard legal pronouncement line (“by the power vested in me by the State of ___”), but that's not legal advice. What actually makes a marriage legal is who's allowed to officiate in your state, and whether that person is registered if your state requires it — not the specific words spoken during the ceremony. Double-check your state's officiant requirements separately; VowCraft handles the script, not the paperwork.

Can I edit it after generating?+

Yes. Every section has its own “Regenerate this section” button, so if the vows don't sound right or the opening feels off, you can rewrite just that part without starting over. The free part of the script can be regenerated as often as you like before you pay; the rest unlocks after checkout.

What if I don't like it?+

Regenerate the section that isn't working first — most scripts click after one or two rewrites of a specific part. If nothing about it feels right, go back and adjust your answers (tone, style, length) and generate again.

Do you offer refunds?+

If something went wrong on our end — payment went through but the script didn't unlock, or an email delivery genuinely failed — email us and we'll fix it or refund you. Since every section can be regenerated for free before you're happy with it, we don't offer refunds just for not liking the tone; try regenerating first.

How is this different from just using ChatGPT?+

You can absolutely do that — it's often where the “awkward AI ramble at 1am” problem comes from. VowCraft is built for this one job specifically: it asks the questions a ceremony script actually needs (names and last names, pronouns, their story, how they'll enter, tone, length, legal state), keeps every section independently editable, and formats the result as a clean, print-ready document — instead of a wall of chat text you have to reformat and fact-check yourself.
