What we collect

When you use the wizard, we collect what you type in: the couple's names (including last names), pronouns, state, how they'll enter, the ceremony choices you make, and any details you add about how they met or who they are as a couple. This information is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate the ceremony script — VowCraft has no database, so it isn't stored on our end once your script has been generated.

If you choose to have your script emailed to you, we collect the email address you provide for that one purpose, and send it via Resend.

If you unlock the full script, payment is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details — Stripe processes the transaction and tells us only whether it succeeded.

How we use it

Your answers are used only to generate and, if requested, deliver your ceremony script. We don't use it for marketing, and we don't sell it to anyone.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of third-party services to run VowCraft: Anthropic (script generation), Stripe (payment processing), and Resend (email delivery). Each only receives what it needs to do its job — Stripe never sees the couple's names, and Anthropic never sees your payment details.

Cookies and tracking

VowCraft doesn't use tracking cookies or analytics that follow you across other sites. Your in-progress script is held temporarily in your browser's session storage so it survives the trip to Stripe's checkout and back — that data stays on your device and is cleared when you close the tab.

Your rights

Since we don't keep a database of past scripts or answers, there's generally nothing to delete after the fact. If you have questions about anything above, email us below.
